Recording Artist DaShawn Releases New Single, Tues. March 5th

Dashawn has been making a name for himself since the release of his mixtape DIARY OF DASHAWN. The Mixtape's first single, "Can U Handle It," established DaShawn as one of R&B's hottest unsigned artists. The Mixtape reached number six on Datpiff.com and became the top mix tape of the day. On the 5th of December 2010 DaShawn signed a distribution deal with Island Def Jam Music Group and released “Can U Handle It” as the official first single of his debut album “On My Way”, which was scheduled to be released in early 2011. The Single topped the R&B charts reaching number 12 on top R&B singles. This gained a legion of new fans. Since then he has appeared on multiple radio interviews, was featured on the cover of Conversations with Music Magazine (published by Conversations Media Group) and has even gained the respect of fellow artists.
The release of the new single on Tues. March 5th is just the beginning of what the artist has in store for fans in 2013. Cyrus Webb Hosts Conversations Book Fair, Sat. Feb. 16th in Pearl, MS | PRLog
In Central Mississippi and looking to support the literary arts? The public is invited to the Pearl Public Library (2416 Old Brandon Road * Pearl, MS) on Sat. Feb. 16th for Conversations Book Club's first book fair of 2013.
Hosted by book club President Cyrus Webb the event will take place from 1-3p.m. and feature authors Darlene Collier (Married to Sin), O. C. Browley (Countdown to 12.13.13), Josiah Young and Tracy Summers (Jesus Opened Heaven to Me) and Glenda Hunter (Unspeakable Secret).
Admission is free, however, each other will have copies of their books available for purchasing.
Since 2006 Conversations Book Club has been hosting literary events in MS, AL, TN, GA and TX, connecting readers with the authors and books they love. With chapters in the South and online, it is one of the largest co-ed reading groups in the United States.

2nd Annual Women Ministers Conference Set For April 5-6, 2013 in Jackson, MS
Pastor James Morris and Minister Tommye Morris, owners of Milestone Christian Bookstore in Pearl, MS, are pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Women Ministers Conference is set for April 5-6, 2013. This year’s event will be held at the Mississippi E-Center (1230 Raymond Road) in Jackson, MS.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Called and Accountable: Discovering our place in God’s eternal purpose”. The theme scripture is Romans 9:17: “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”
Those in attendance can experience the fellowship of meeting with other ministers, female and male, who understand that all who are born again are ministers of God with different levels of responsibility. The special keynote speaker is Missionary Amy Lancaster and guests performers include saxophonist Nadra Bingham of Atlanta, Georgia.

DC Now Radio Announces Top Conversations LIVE Shows of 2012

Founded by celebrity photographer Anthony Tilghman in April 2012, DC Now Radio has not only gained its own loyal following, but proved a great partner for Conversations Media Group along the way. Tilghman wanted to bring a sports & talk radio station to the nation's capital and partnered with Conversations Live to debut on DC NOW RADIO hosted by Cyrus Webb.
"It's great to see that the hard work and professionalism we try to bring to the airwaves is finally reaping the rewards," says Cyrus Webb, creator and host of Conversations LIVE. The radio show debuted on WMPR 90.1 FM in Jackson, Mississippi in July 2003 and has since become the popular place for individuals of all walks of life to come and share their stories with the world and showcase what is possible. DC NOW RADIO has over 1,000 daily listeners and over 10,000 viewers per week on the website.
The radio station also broadcasts Washington D.C. sports games live on the website including live streams from the Washington Capitals & upcoming Washington Redskins games.
